Our CHIANTI RISERVA D.O.C.G. is made with 90% Sangiove- se- and 10% Colorino-grapes and we produce him with an antique method, a double-fermentation: the Sangiovese ferments on his own and only when it's ready we mix the Colorino-grapes to the wine — a second fermentation takes place in the wine/tank. The Chianti then rests for 12 months in our big 2000-litre-oak-barrel and another 8 months in the bottle. All this makes our Chianti Riserva a really fruity and smooth one, with a good character and body.
